Was destroyed during the fighting in Eckernförde fjord, April 5, 1849. The ship was original to be named PRINS CHRISTIAN FREDERIK after the Crown Prince, and in memory of the ship-of-the-line that was destroyed by the British off Sjællands Odde, March 22, 1808. Some sources are also using the name: CHRISTIAN den OTTENDE. |
