Scuttling the Navy August 29, 1943:

Minesweeper MS 8

The minesweeper MS 8 was scuttled at the Royal Dockyard at 0420 on August 29th.

Raised on September 5th.

In German service 1943-1945.

MS 8 was found in Copenhagen in May, 1945 and served in the Danish navy until 1967.
