The guided missile vessel RAVNEN has ended its deployment with the multi national naval force, UNIFIL, off the coast of Lebanon. To spare both ship and crew it was descided to bring the ship back home on board the German heavy lift carrier CONDOCK I.

CONDOCK I had just delivered the replacement vessel, the guided missile vessel VIBEN, to Limassol in Cyprus.

The ships arrived in Kalundborg on Wednesday, January 17, where most of the day was spend preparing for the undocking of the Danish ship.

The undocking started Thursday at 10 am, and after more than two hours later the RAVNEN was once again back in Danish waters. Later the same day the ship was enroute to its home base in Korsoer, just a few nautical miles south of Kalundborg.
